Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus, both of the smartphones have a line of successful predecessors and it is being expected that both of them will yet again keep up with the tradition. Here goes the full head on comparison between these two future successors of a couple of highly successful series.
Since both the smartphones are yet to release, and there are almost no rumors about the dimensions of these smartphones it would be quite unfair to judge but anyways, here is what is known so far.
The Apple iPhone 5 has already seen numerous leaks which are more than enough to confirm that this yet to be released iPhone 5 will be featuring a 4 inch display which is rumored(yet to be confirmed) will be coming with the Retina Display technology for which Apple is famous for.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus on the other hand is rumored to feature a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display which for those keeping scores at home is the same type of technology used in Samsung Galaxy S3, the so called best android smartphone till now.
If Apple continues its tradition of featuring the processor of the previous iPad into the next gen iPhone, then the iPhone 5 would most probably come with a A5X Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, however, there are also rumors making round that this yet to be released iPhone might come with a quad core processor to compete with the already available android based quad cores.
Whatever the case might be, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus is also packing some heavy fire power within itself, thanks to the 1.5GHz dual core A9 processor which has already been confirmed through a leaked tech sheet.
Other Tech Specs
Apart from the tech specs discussed above, the iPhone 5 is rumored to be having 4G LTE connectivity for super fast internet, NFC, at least an 8 MP rear camera(since the current iPhone 4S has an 8MP camera) and an improved front camera, at least 16 GB of internal storage which as usual can’t be increased through a microSD card slot and 1GB of RAM.
Here is how the list goes for Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus, it has been rumored that the future addition to the Nexus series will be coming with 4G LTE, NFC, 8MP rear and 1.9MP front camera, 16GB of on board storage and for the first time in the Nexus series a the internal storage can now be complemented with the extra GBs offered through microSD card.
Apart from the screen quality, the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus both have more or less the same tech specs, so at the end it all comes down to the OS. So unless and until you are an iOS fan, we would recommend you to go for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Plus.
