You may call it a mere coincidence but experts see the passing of ASUS Eee Pad MeMO 370T on FCC on the same day as was the benchmarks for the Nexus 7 Tablet was leaked, as an indication to the Google Nexus 7 Tablet we all have been waiting for since a long time.
Before there were any news of a Nexus tablet, the MeMO 370T was the OG $250 tab, equipped with a powerful Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor with a 7-inch bright display. The FCC documents posted today didn’t give away much, only that this particular model will be WiFi only. Which must be a huge disappointment to the users who like to be connected 24/7. Almost all the pundits are really disappointed seeing that a majority of the tablets in market have moved on to 4G while this tablet offers no cellular connection( means not even 3G).
While there is a very high probability that we are looking at the Nexus 7 tablet, but it also cant be denied that this tablet could be a better equipped and a little more expensive tablet offered through ASUS, and not direct from Google. Because there is no official word on Google Nexus 7 tablet, it’s all a wild guess at this point, but now at the very least we know that something is coming.
Another rumor that has surfaced in the intervening period however, suggests this device will actually be released as a Google Nexus 7-inch tablet, and could even feature the next version of Android, codenamed Jelly Bean with an incredibly low price like $149, although the cheaper reworked version might have a few cut backs in terms of processor but it would be just fine if we get Jelly Bean in just $149s.
