Most awaited Chikni Chameli of Movie Agneepath (2011) after Sheela Ki Jawani Indian Bollywood sensational and hot actress Katrina Kaif becomes number one on google’s most searched person.
According to Zeitgeist, Google’s annual list that highlights ‘popular and fastest rising search queries from India in 2011′, Katrina and Anna were followed by Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra on the 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10th positions, respectively, reinforcing the popularity of Bollywood among Indian netizens.

Bollywood’s reigning star Katrina Kaif left social activist Anna Hazare behind as the most searched person on the Google search engine in India in 2011. Others to make it to the list were controversial actor Poonam Pandey (#3), Canadian singer Justin Beiber (#4), cricketer Sachin Tendulkar (#7) and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs (#9).
The most searched movies’ list was topped by Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard, followed by Ra One, Harry Potter and Delhi Belly on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots, respectively.
The anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare had emerged as top newsmaker this year on search engine Yahoo India.
Anna emerged clear winner in the newsmaker category for 2011 followed by West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
