South Korean multinational electronics and information technology company Samsung Electronics unveils its GalaxyTab 620 in Indian Market.

Samsung India’s Country Head for Mobile and IT, Ranjit Yadav said on launching,”The GalaxyTab 620 with its powerful processor, next generation OS, stylish design and intelligent value added applications make this a faster, lighter and smarter device”.

Samsung has added the GALAXY 620 to its line-up of tablets. Yadav added,”The new tablet can download a 1GB (gigabit) movie in 6.5 minutes and a 1.5MB (megabit) photo in one minute. Similarly, a 10MB music file can be transmitted in one second through a 40MHz channel” “The tablet’s Android operating system (OS) provides a greater user experience with a compatibility zoom for non-tablet sized applications”.

Priced at Rs.30,250 and weighing 345 gm, the tablet is one of the lightest in its category. It has HSPA+ technology which can enable user to download movies and songs, surf the web and play online games while on the move with data speeds of 21 Megabit per second, the statement said. “It takes only 390 seconds to download a 1GB movie and a mere 0.57 seconds to download a 1.5MB photo,” the statement said.

Beside 3G enabled connectivity, it has option to connect with Wi-Fi which can increases download and streaming speeds by two folds, it added. Weighing 345 gm, the tablet is one of the lightest in its category. At 9.96 mm, its sleek design makes it convenient to carry.
