Summer time is here – and you’d best start thinking about breaking that piggy bank to get a new smartphone so that you can show it off to your friends. One candidate that shouldn’t get overlooked is the Motorola Droid 3, which is expected to hit stores pretty soon.
How soon? Droid-Life reports that Motorola’s latest high profile Android smartphone, the Droid 3, will officially come on July 7 and it will be available on Verizon Wireless. You probably won’t be able to purchase the Droid 3 in stores until July 14 though.
As for how far you have to dig into your pocket to buy the Motorola Droid 3, the big red and Motorola haven’t really confirmed the price. But we’re pretty sure that it won’t be more than $200 with the obligatory 2-year contract. You’ll get a dual core 1GHz processor to power the vibrant and reasonably big 4-inch qHD display, 16GB internal storage, HDMI, 512MB memory, latest version of Blur, as well as a 5-row sliding keyboard. Alas, Motorola has left out 4G LTE though.
Life with your future Droid 3 won’t be complete without some accessories to go along with it. Luckily, there won’t be any shortage of accessories for the Droid 3. As early as last week, a slew of accessories have appeared in stores, which include screen covers and snap-on cases.
