Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is finally up for pre-orders from US Cellular and with an instant rebate with service contract, the phone would come with a $299.99 price tag. Currently the pre-orders can be done only via the official website of the carrier and not through any of the retail stores.
Specs wise, the US Cellular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would be the same as it would come in AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon and is expected to ship before the start of November. As for the availability on other carriers, there have been speculations going around that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would land on almost all carriers by November at latest.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a monstrous 5.3 inch Super AMOLED display which sports a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and hence the pixel density of 267ppi. The Note 2 has a Exynos 4412 Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 heart which when combined with the 2GB RAM and Mali-400 GPU it offers, gives an user experience to die for.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also features an 8MP rear and 1.9MP front camera, both of which are capable of HD video recording. As for storage, Sammy doesn’t disappoint us at all from its 16/32/64 GB internal storage which could be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Just like its screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 also features a monstrous 3100 mAh Li-Ion battery.
As for connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a load of options few of them are 3G/4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB (MHL) v2.0, GPS, etc. Apart from all of the above, one of the most attractive thing about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is that while most of the other phones are still waiting for their OTA update, it comes with the latest version of Android from Google factory, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, right out of the box.
In a nutshell, if everything goes well, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might turn out to be a huge hit in the US market.
