Samsung Galaxy Note 2 just like its predecessors in the Galaxy series, has seen its fare share of rumors and speculations and this time is no different.
According to a report on Korea IT Times, the yet to be released Samsung Galaxy Note 2, will come with a 5.5-inch flexible AMOLED HD display while being at least 0.4mm thinner than its predecessor, the original Samsung Galaxy Note. The report also said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will also feature Unbreakable Plan or more commonly known as UBP technology. The technology is said to give an added strength to the screen without adding even a few millimeters to the thickness.
The rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 2′s 5.5-inch flexible AMOLED HD should not be confused with a bendable phone, most probably a flexible screen would only mean that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might come with a more curvy design than the original Note. So if true, the Galaxy Note 2 might prove the earlier speculations of it being a bigger version of “Samsung Galaxy S3″ wrong after all.
There are also rumors making rounds on the internet that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would have to compromise with ICS since Samsung never had enough time to actually test Jelly Bean on a device like Samsung Galaxy Note 2, a hybrid between tablet and mobile.
Just like most of Samsung’s high end devices (specially the ones in Galaxy Series), the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Jelly Bean update should also be expected in the beginning of Q4 this year. Which might be a problem for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 considering the fact that it will be in direct competition with iPhone 5 and HTC’s 5-inch smartphone, both which are expected to come with the latest versions of their respective OS’s.
As for now, this as far as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 rumors go, be sure to check out fun47 in the future too, because there sure will be some Samsung Galaxy Note 2 rumors/leaks in the near future and as usual we will be one of the first ones to cover it.
