HTC Evo 3D on Radio Shack for $200; Comes Free Music and Preloaded 3D Movie

HTC Evo 3D on Radio Shack for $200; Comes Free Music and Preloaded 3D Movie HTC Evo 3D 300x270Do you want to harmonize your vocal with Fergie by downloading free music from the Blackeyed Peas? Let’s throw in a free 3D version of The Green Hornet movie as well, which you can playback on your HTC Evo 3D. Does that sound alluring enough for you? These are the bonuses that you will apparently get when you purchase the phone on Radio Shack.

The aggressive push by Radio Shack in marketing the 3D phone offering from HTC sure makes other deals seem pale in comparison. But in case you want to voluntarily miss out on the good deal – you can always pre-order the HTC Evo 3D at Sprint stores as well as Best Buy – the latter has been offering the phone since the start of the month.

While other stores haven’t revealed their pricing of the HTC Evo 3D, Radio Shack has the phone down at $200 on contract, while the off-contract price is $500. If you happen to have an old HTC Evo phone, you can also trade it in for an extra price cut of $100. So you could be walking away with a new HTC Evo 3D just by paying $100!

Sprint Getting HTC Evo 3D on June 4?

Sprint Getting HTC Evo 3D on June 4? HTC Evo 3D 300x270Can you smell that whiff of 3D scent in the air? It’s probably the smell of HTC Evo 3D. While it won’t be the first device to come with glasses-free 3D display, it has the honor of being one of the first 3D smartphones in the world – a title the phone probably shares with LG Optimus 3D. And what do you know, it seems HTC Evo 3D is coming in 2 weeks’ time on Sprint – that’s June 4.

According to a leaked internal memo down at Radio Shack, it was revealed that the HTC Evo 3D is going to be released on June 4. RadioShack is the same bunch who announced they were accepting pre-order of the phone last week for a mere $50.

It’s understandable if you think that the 3D is a gimmick, but gimmick can sell devices. Plus, you’d have a fun first month shooting 3D video of yourself. Apart from the 3D gimmick, the HTC Evo 3D can hold its ground when it comes to the specs.  From the phone’s snappy 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch 960 x 540 display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread to its 4G WiMax connectivity.

You can check out sample pictures taken by the phone’s 5-megapixels rear camera on this Picasa account. These are just plain 2D pictures though.
